About the 8C10U
The 8C10U is found in the ImPak Plus line by Reliance Electric. This is a .75 horsepower controller. The AC input is one hundred and fifteen. The input volts are eleven point three (11.3) with a max amp of 50/60Hz with a single phase. The DC out is ninety with DC out volts at seven point five (7.5). The DC FLD is one hundred with a DC FLD volt of three. The short circuit sym RMS rating is one thousand amps. The enclosure type needed for this controller is 4/12. This controller is also CSA and UL rated. It is important to inspect the controller and the modification kits for possible physical damage of improper connections when the controller is powered off. The electrical connections between the Regulator and the modification kits are made using box connectors overboard pins. Before connecting the kits inspect the mating pins to ensure they are parallel and straight before inserting them. Only a single pin can fit in each box connector and are to be secured with screws to the regulator board. All the wiring connections should be made with a sufficient amount of bare wire to create a good electrical connection. Removing an excessive length of the wires insulation could needlessly expose conductors and increase the possibility of shorts and increased safety hazards. This controller has a Start and Stop toggle switch at the bottom, dial in the center that goes from zero to ten and an overall power button at the top.
