About the 6MD-NM1B
The 6MD-NM1B module is a conversion kit that was produced by Reliance Electric to be included inside of the MD-60 product line. This product is no longer being produced by the original manufacturer; however, AX Control makes an attempt to supply this product and others in the MD-60 product line for our customers. Our website conveniently tracks the availability of all of our products, including the 6MD-NM1B conversion kit.
The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit is one of two conversion kits within the MD-60 product line. The other one has the model number 6MD-NM1A. The difference between these two is the type of frame that they use. The 6MD-NM1A model uses Frame A and the 6MD-NM1B model uses Frame B. These two conversion kits fulfill the same function, though.
The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit is used to convert an MD-60 AC drive from an enclosure rating of IP20 to IP30/NEMA 1. The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit itself comes with a metal conduit plate so that it can attach to the user conduit. In addition to that, the 6MD-NM1B conversion kit comes with a plastic top cover for the drive. This protects it from debris that can hamper its functions or possibly damage it irreparably.
The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit is rated as having a voltage of 460 VAC and a Hertz rating of 50/60 Hz.
The 6MD-NM1B conversion kit has a total weight of approximately 0.57 lbs. or 0.26 kg. This approximate weight does not include any of the shipping materials that we use for our packages.
