About the 6MDAN-2P3101
6MDAN-2P3101 is a 230 V, 50/60 Hz, 1-phase MD60 Drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The output current is 2.3 A, the horsepower is 0.5 HP, and the output power is 0.37 kW. There is no filter in this drive. The frame size is A.The drive should be mounted upright on a flat, vertical and level surface, either on a panel with screws or on a 35 mm DIN rail. The drive can be protected from debris with a plastic top panel. The drive must be grounded before it can be power wired for installation. Verify that the drive AC input ratings match the available power. When the power wire rating is unshielded 600V, 75° C THHN/THWN, the recommended copper wire is 15 mils insulated. When the power wire rating is shielded 600V, 90° RHH/RHW-2, the recommended copper wire is Belden 29501-29507 or equivalent. When the power wire rating is shielded tray rated 600V, 90° C RHH/RHW-2, the recommended copper wire is Showflex 2 ACD/3 ACD (or equivalent).
The drive is intended to be commanded by control input signals that will start and stop the motor. A device that routinely disconnects then reapplies output power to the motor for the purpose of starting and stopping the motor should not be used. If it is necessary to disconnect power to the motor while the drive is providing output power, an auxiliary contact should be used to simultaneously disable drive control run commands. Check the installation before you apply power to the drive. All inputs must be connected to the correct terminals, check that AC power matches the drive rating, check that external control power is 24 VDC. Power up the drive.
