About the 6MDBN-2P3101
6MDBN-2P3101 is a 230 V, 50/60 Hz, 3-phase MD60 Drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The output current is 2.3 A, the horsepower is 0.5 HP, and the output power is 0.37 kW. There is no filter in this drive. The frame size is A. When installing the drive, keep it protected with a cooling fan (to avoid dust and metallic particles). Do not expose the drive to a corrosive atmosphere, moisture, or direct sunlight. The enclosure rating can be either IP20/Open Type or IP30/ NEMA 1/ ULType 1.
There are a number of fault codes that may appear on the drive. Fault code F6 is a motor stalled fault. This auto-resettable fault means that the drive is not able to accelerate the motor. In order to correct this fault, either increase the acceleration time or reduce the load on the motor. Fault code F7 is a motor overload fault. This auto-resettable fault occurs when there is an internal electronic overload trip. This fault can be corrected by reducing the load on the motor. Also, verify the Start Boost setting. Fault code F8 is a heatsink overtemp fault. This auto-resettable fault means that the predefined heatsink temperature value has been exceeded. This fault can be corrected by clearing dirty or blocked heat sink fins and/or checking the fan. Fault code F12 is a HW overcurrent fault. This fault is not auto-resettable, and it occurs when the drive output current has exceeded the hardware current limit. This fault can be corrected by checking the programming and checking for excess load.
