New Surplus Factory Package: A completely unused product that is in the original factory package. The package may have been opened for the purpose of pictures, but the product has never been used or installed.

New Surplus AX Control Package: A completely unused product that has been removed from the original factory package. Often due to shelf wear or previous shipping, the factory package is not adequate and must be replaced with an ideal AX Control product package.

Reconditioned: All products that qualify as reconditioned have completed AX Control's thorough and detailed QA process and meet the requirements of excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic condition.

Product Description

The 6MDVN-6P0101 is a 120 VAC 50/60Hz 1-Phase  MD60 Drive. This is a variable speed drive (volts per hertz controller) that can be used for a variety of applications including machine applications, simple conveyors, agitators, or mixers.  The 6MDVN-6P0101 has an integrated LED display and keypad as well as a single turn potentiometer to control speed. The drive includes a built-in braking transistor to allow connection to a remote braking resistor if desired, for enhanced performance.

The  6MDVN-6P0101 has the following specifications:

  • Frame weight of 4.9 lbs.

  • Frame size of 3.94 x 8.39 x 5.35 inches (frame size B.)

  • Input voltage is 115V, 50/60 Hz 1-phase.

  • Output current is 6.0 Amps.

  • Drive rating is 1.1 kW, 1.5 HP.  

It is important to note the  6MDVN-6P0101 does not have an EMC compliant filter installed.   External filters can be added to meet emission standards.

The  6MDVN-6P0101 is rated for IP20/ Open type enclosure mounting.  It has a minimum ambient operating temperature rating of -10 degrees Celsius, and a maximum rating of 50 degrees Celsius.  Mounting of the drive should include clearances of at least 1 inch left and right and 4.7 inches top and bottom. Be sure to mount the drive upright on a vertical, flat and level surface.  The drive should be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail or using M4 (#8-32) screws on a 1.9 mm (0.0747 inches) minimum thickness panel. The drive must be properly grounded as part of essential requirements for CE compliance.  Please refer to manufacturer data sheets or user guides for more information.
