The 6MDAN-8P0112 is a 200-240 VAC 1-phase input, 0-230 V 3-phase output MD65 drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive outputs 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) and 8.0 amps. The input voltage range is 180-265, the input kVA is 4.0, and the input amps are 18.0. The branch circuit protection is 30 for the fuses and 30 for the circuit breaker. The power dissipation is 80 watts. The MD65 drive must be power wired as a part of the installation process. I/O wiring recommendations include Belden 8760/9460 or equivalent (0.8 mm2, twisted pair, 100% shield with drain) and Belden 8770 or equivalent (0.8 mm2, 3 conductor, shielded for remote pot only).

If the wires are short and contained within a cabinet that has no sensitive circuits, the use of shielded wire may not be necessary, but it is always recommended. For the I/O terminal block, the maximum wire size is 1.3 mm2 (16 AWG), the minimum wire size is 0.13 mm2 (26 AWG), and the torque is 0.5 to 0.8 Nm (4.4 in-lb to 7 in-lb). The control wiring length must not exceed 30 meters (100 feet). The I/O terminal block Common must be connected to the ground terminal/protective earth in order to improve noise immunity. Terminal 19 should also be connected to the ground terminal/protective earth if you are using the RS485 port. Follow control terminal block wiring instructions as detailed in the user manual.
