About the 14C11
The Reliance Electric Part Number 14C11 is a Single Phase D-C Controller that functions to provide full-wave power alternation. This alternation has a tachometer feedback when fine-tuning the analog current minor loop, as well as an analog current major loop of the armature voltage and speed.
The Controller operates within the 14C20 chassis that sits in a NEMA Type 4/12 casing. The purpose of the casing is to make it easier to mount on walls or panels, because it has a hinged cover. The casing can also be abolished to allow for panel mounting on a large electrical casing using a chassis-only configuration. An optical remote control station can be placed either some distance away or on a large electrical enclosure’s exterior. The chassis has one POWER ON/OFF circuit breaker that is isolated from the casing and faceplate.
The Operator’s Station is used for easy application of the Controller. Necessary alterations can be done on the Operator’s Station, which can be applied to the application. The Controller has a faceplate where the user can find specific information, such as suitable A-C input power, D-C output power, maximum amp limit, and the model number. The Reliance Electric 14C11 enclosure is a One-Phase D-C controller that uses the 14C21 chassis. It has 1.5 HP ratings, 230 volts of AC input power at 10.5 max amps, 50/60 Hertz,180 volts of DC output at 7.5 max amps, 200 DC fields at 3 max amps, and a maximum power supply capacity of 1000 amps.
