About the 14C13

The Reliance Electric Part Number 14C13 Controller is a Single-Phase full-wave power converter. The Controller comes with a tachometer feedback, which is useful for customizing the analog current minor loop and analog current major loop of the armature voltage and speed regulation.

The 14C13 Controller is confined in a 14C23 chassis, which is a NEMA Type 4/12 casing. This Type 4/12 NEMA casing is useful for operating the Controller on a wall mount or panel, as it has a handy hinge that enables the Controller to be installed either on walls or a panel. The Controller can also be panel mounted on a large electrical enclosure by discarding the 14C23 casing. The POWER ON/OFF circuit breaker of the 14C23 chassis can be found separately from the faceplate and enclosure.

The use of the Controller can be further simplified by using an Operator’s Station. It enables further modification of the application using the Controller. The front cover and nameplate of the Controller provide necessary Controller information, such as model number, full-load current, maximum amp limit, A-C input power, and D-C input power. The Reliance Electric 14C13 Single-Phase enclosure has an AC input of 230 volts at 35 amps, a DC output of 180 volts at 25 amps, a DC field of 200 volts, and a maximum power supply limit of 5000 amps.
