The 14C222 is a Reliance Electric designed Interface Kit. Depending on the year it was manufactured, it may have been also produced by ASEA BROWN BOVERI, Allen Bradley, and Baldor Reliance. It was produced for the MiniPak series of drives. It has been discontinued by the manufacturers and is considered to be obsolete.

The 14C222 is a special Modification Kit for the MiniPak Plus D-C V*S series of drive controllers. This kit is specifically an Instrument Interface/Preset Speed Kit. No additional parts are needed with this kit. This kit does two things; it allows the drive to run constantly at a preset speed and it allows the MiniPak to follow a milliamp signal automatically. The maximum input for this device is 50mA. The signal it receives may or may not be grounded and those signals come in a variety of milliamp ranges. The Preset Speed portion of this kit can be set so that the MiniPak runs at either a zero to 50% minimum or at a maximum of 50% beyond the base speed. Other speeds are also possible as long as they fall into these specific parameters.
