About the 14c402
The 14C402 module is a reversing contactor kit that was made and manufactured by Reliance Electric for the FlexPak Plus series. The 14C402 contactor kit can typically be found in AX Control’s stock, even though it has been officially discontinued by Reliance Electric. If you are interested in purchasing a 14C402 contactor kit to go with your FlexPak Plus controller, then you have come to the right place. You can call or email us anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to ask any questions that you may have about the 14C402 contactor kit.
The 14C402 contactor kit is an optional piece of machinery that can be added onto a standard FlexPak Plus controller. A factory issued FlexPak Plus controller with no attachments added onto it will have the ability to do unidirectional control. However, if you add on a reversing contactor kit, such as the 14C402 model, then you have the ability to use bidirectional operation, meaning you can manually switch between forward and reverse. Bidirectional operation also requires you to have the optional auxiliary panel also installed onto the standard issue FlexPak Plus controller.
To install the 14C402 contactor kit, you must attach it to the right side of the auxiliary panel. You will need three mounting screws to do this. After you have mounted the 14C402 contactor kit, you must then connect both of the power wiring harnesses as well as the control wiring harness to each other.
The 14C402 contactor kit has a metal frame and a mostly hollow inside. Inside of the 14C402 contactor kit, you can find a large circuit board with numerous electrical components attached to it.
