About the 3141-CP
The 3141-CP module is a standard contact brush that Reliance Electric, which is now known by the name Rockwell Automation, created and produced. Reliance Electric has discontinued the 3141-CP standard contact brush, which therefore makes it obsolete and difficult to obtain. Despite its discontinuation, the 3141-CP standard contact brush may be in stock with AX Control. We tend to carry our available products in reconditioned form or possibly even brand new form. The 3141-CP standard contact brush has three carbon brushes attached to it. These carbon brushes have braided metal wiring and are used to conduct electrical current between the moving parts and the stationary wires. This can be done in conjunction with either a Reliance Electric motor or generator. When conducting these electrical currents, the 3141-CP standard contact brush ensures that the energy transfer is free of any sparks which could pose as a threat to the machine and the user.
Please keep in mind during the installation process of the 3141-CP standard contact brush or anything similar that you must keep the environment you are installing it into must be clean. This means that it is free of any dust, debris, dirt, or gases that could pose a threat to its integrity. Failure to do this could cause damage to the device and/or serious injury upon operation.
