About the 608830-2R
The 608830-2R is an auxiliary contact designed as a replacement for various components from Reliance Electric. The 608830-2R is a small contact block. It typically can be added with a starter already in place, without the need for tools. This contactor design uses a reliable basic contactor design with Teflon and polysulphone guides along with rosite and melamine moldings. Springs are typically made from stainless steel for long mechanical life and exceptional electrical resistance. The contacts are located toward the front, allowing the position to be clearly noted.
The 608830-2R has a single N.O contact and a single N.C contact. It is built with a tie pole. These are electrically interlocked.
