The 612403-36R module is a cable assembly developed and manufactured by Reliance Electric. The 612403-36R cable assembly was designed to be used in Reliance Electric’s drive systems such as the Automax and the Automate system. The 612403-36R cable assembly was once sold with the same part number but with the companies Asea Brown Boveri and Baldor-Reliance. The 612403-36R cable assembly has since been discontinued by the original equipment manufacturer, but AX Control may offer the product new from surplus stock or in refurbished, like new condition. The 612403-36R cable assembly is very short, only about 2.5 feet long. The cable has a gray color with the male connectors at the end being black in color. One of the connectors has a silver metal part and the other one has a goldish color metal part. The connectors at each end are male D-shell type connectors and the exterior of the cable is surrounded by a protective PVC sleeve.
The 612403-36R cable assembly is very lightweight at only 0.25 lbs. or 0.11 kg. This is, of course, not including any of AX Control’s packaging materials, which have been created with safety in mind.
