Developed and produced by Reliance Electric to be installed in their brand of motor starters and contactors, the 64412-V is an auxiliary contact block.
The Reliance Electric auxiliary contact blocks are 600 Volts and were created to expedite the installation and operation of Reliance Electric devices. The 64412-V auxiliary contact block has fine silver contact tips, steel spring that have a long lifespan, and contacts that are enclosed in clear plastic. In addition to that, the 64412-V auxiliary contact blocks have fast assembly, terminals that are easily accessible, and simple yet effective removal procedures. Lastly, the 64412-V auxiliary contact block is UL listed.
Reliance Electric auxiliary contact blocks have an optional screwdriver, catalog number 100T-SD, that was created to positively made with the screw that is located in the auxiliary contact blocks.
The 64412-V auxiliary contact block are capable of being inserted into Reliance Electric contactors. When installing the auxiliary contact block into the contactor, be sure to allow enough space, as the installation will add an extra 0.5 inches to the contactor’s width.
The 64412-V auxiliary contact block can also be inserted into a Reliance Electric motor starter. Upon installation, you can fit an auxiliary contact block into each side of the motor starter, totalling eight auxiliary contact blocks per motor starter at any one time.
When you are ready to install the 64412-V auxiliary contact block, be sure to give the surrounding area proper cleaning. The environment the 64412-V auxiliary contact block must be clear of any dust, debris, or oils. In addition, be sure that any gases emitted from chemicals are clear from the area, as they can also be hazardous to the auxiliary contact block.
