701819-10AC Reliance Power Cube Kit
The 701819-10AC is an optional modification kit used on some of Reliance Electric’s drives, including the FlexPak Plus DC variable speed drive. This is a Power Cube, sometimes known as a field supply kit. It is used for full-wave field excitation in shunt-wound direct current motors. The 701819-10AC is rated for motors rated between 2 and 3 hp 230 VAC.
The 701819-10AC is composed of a carrier block with four mounts and four stab-on connectors. These connectors are labeled G1 through G4. The block is also labeled L1, L2, +, and -. The power cube should be mounted on the terminal board bracket of the basic controller, on its right-hand edge.
