701819-43AW Reliance Electric Thyristor Control
The 701819-43AW is a Reliance Electric Thyristor Control module. This is an optional modification part used within several of Reliance Electric’s drives.
The 701819-43AW is designed as a metal heat sink carrying the black molded body of the component. This base is tapered at each end and has a diagram (similar to a relay diagram) printed on its side. The top of the unit has three control terminations. It is important that proper connections are made to these terminals when the installation is being made; if the connection is too loose, overheating may cause premature failure of the unit or may cause the unit to misfire, and too tight a connection can overstress the module and cause internal damage.
