704323-2X  Dual Voltage Power Supply 

The 704323-2X is a Reliance Electric component that is used within the company’s drives or their auxiliary systems.  This part is sometimes sold under the company names of Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance. 

The 704323-2X functions as a Power Supply.  This component is built around a C-shaped carrier with drill holes that allow for easy mounting of the power supply.  There are four bipolar transistors mounted to the exterior of this carrier in two lines of two.  Next to the transistors, the front surface of the carrier is cut away to expose the Deltron Inc B 13H T60374-1 supply.  This supply has numbered terminals, with instructions on the front of the unit on proper wiring to achieve 115 VAC or 230 VAC.   Next to this component in the rear of the carrier, there are two high-voltage electrolytic capacitors mounted in metal clamping bases.  A small circuit board is attached via screws to the carrier directly behind these capacitors. The circuit board holds several terminal screw mounts as well as other components.  Wires are used to connect components.  

This component is sometimes known as a Deltron QD12/15-3.
