The 78091-9R module is a 3 pole DC contactor. All of the DC contactors that Reliance Electric made are powered by solenoids, which ensures that the contractor has a long-lasting performance that is both fast and consistent. These DC contactors all have pressure type terminals that are easily accessible in the front of the device. This location makes the DC contactors perfect machines for both straight through wiring and wire channel layout processes.
The Reliance Electric DC contactors can be used for many different applications, such as being a main line, accelerating, or reversing contactor inside of the DC controller and motor starters. In addition to that, the 78091-9R DC contactor can be used for battery load applications and for switching resistive heating.
The 78091-9R DC contactor can be equipped with up to four auxiliary contact kits as a base unit. Both N.O. and N.C. auxiliary contact kits are applicable for the 78091-9R DC contactor. If you would like to add more, you can find certain optional kits that can facilitate certain field installation procedures.
