The 78092-1R DC contactor is a 110 Amp, 600 VDC device. It can be furnished with up to four auxiliary contact blocks, which can either be N.C., N.O., or both N.C. and N.O. at the same time. There are, however, kits available that will allow you to add up to four more auxiliary contacts through field installation techniques. The contacts are essentially assured a long contact life due to the large double break silver cadmium oxide contacts and permanent magnet blowouts that come built-in with the 78092-1R DC contactor.
The 78092-1R DC contactor can be used for many different purposes. Included in these purposes are switching battery loads and resistive heating. The 78092-1R DC contactor also can also act as a main line, reversing, or accelerating contactor for DC controllers and motor starters. The 78092-1R DC contactor’s terminals are located in the front of the device, which makes it incredibly convenient for certain processes, such as wire channel layout setups as well as straight-through wiring.
