The 78095-Z auxiliary contact has one N.O. contact. The auxiliary contacts that Reliance Electric produced can be added to a Reliance Electric motor starter. This is done by holding the motor starter in one place and inserting the auxiliary contact firmly into the place that is clearly marked on one of the motor starter’s four sides. No tools are required for this particular installation. A total of four auxiliary contacts may be added into a motor starter, although there are side mounting kits that allow for four additional auxiliary contacts to be added for a total of eight at once. This is critical, since you will be able to add two whole motor starter’s worth of auxiliary contacts in one. This means that it would not be necessary to purchase a second motor starter if you do not need one.
