The 78096-1T auxiliary contact block has an N.C. contact at the bottom and an N.O. contact at the top. The 78096-1T auxiliary contact block is very easy to install and comes with its positive drive contacts and a clear side cover.
The 78096-1T auxiliary contact block has the ability to be installed in Reliance Electric’s motor starters or contactors. When ready to begin the installation process of the 78096-1T auxiliary contact block into a motor starter, you simply need to keep the motor starter in place and firmly insert the contact block into the clearly labeled place. When you are installing the 78096-1T auxiliary contact block in a contactor, you can follow the same steps, but keep in mind that you will need to save an extra 0.5 inches to the width dimension of it, as that is how much space the newly added attachment will take up. The motor starters and contactors can be equipped with up to four auxiliary contact blocks.
