There is a single high-voltage capacitor located on top of one heat sink and a small circuit board located on top of the other. This circuit board is populated by a single transformer, diodes, resistors, and terminal pins connected to wired connections. The wired connections connect to other components that are mounted between the two heat sinks, including SCR diodes and metal oxide varistors.
