The 78155-48B is a rectifier stack component. The unit is comprised of two individual heat sink components that have been bolted together at their mid-point. The bottom of one of these heat sinks is a flat edge while the other has a curved flange with a bolt that allows users to mount the unit in place. There is a single high-voltage capacitor located on top of one heat sink and a small circuit board located on top of the other. This circuit board is populated by a single transformer, diodes, resistors, and terminal pins connected to wired connections. The wired connections connect to other components that are mounted between the two heat sinks, including SCR diodes and metal oxide varistors.
