The 78155-56R is a type of rectifier stack component.  It is built from two sets of metal heat sink components bolted together on either side of a central metal vertical carrier.   Above these heat sinks are mounted small circuit board components that are each populated with resistors, terminal pins, diodes, and a single transformer.  Terminal pins are connected to wires that then connect to SCR diodes located between the heat sinks.  Additional components are mounted close by the SCRs.
