The 78461-XR is a Reliance Electric replacement contact kit, with replacement parts for a contact motor starter.   AX Control has many of these replacement contact kits offered in our on-hand stock.  Please be sure you are ordering the correct contact kit for your particular needs, as each kit has small but important variations. 

The 78461-XR  is a genuine Reliance Electric renewal part.  This sort of part is superior to aftermarket supplier parts that may have small but significant differences.  While the part cost is not exorbitant in itself, the real cost comes in the possibility of extended downtime if a secondary market renewal part doesn’t work on your machine.  You can remove the chance of this downtime by replacing like-for-like parts.  

The 78461-XR should be mounted using original Reliance contact kit instructions.  This includes fastening the auxiliary contact assembly to either side of your contactor.  This uses one screw. The mounting bracket will only be used for contactors from sizes 00 to 2.
