About the 803456-4t
803456-4t Reliance Electric Distributed Field Power Module 12.5 A 460 VAC In 400 VDC Out
The 803456-4t is a Reliance Electric module used for distributed field power. This component was sold under several manufacturing names, including Baldor-Reliance, Asea Brown Boveri, and Reliance Electric.
The 803456-4t is designed within a three-sided metal housing with two extending tabs bent into feet. These tabs sit slightly below and behind the body of the module, and are cut out to allow mounting to pre-mounted hardware. The housing has a removable cover attached by several screw connections. The bottom of the module is open.
The interior components of the module include two circuit boards. The top circuit board is a 0-57300 circuit board, which is populated by eight transformers, stab-on connectors, resistors, capacitors (including disk capacitors, ceramic, polyester vinyl, and aluminum electrolytic capacitors,) diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits. The board also has two right-angled female connectors on one board edge and multiple terminal pins. The second board is a 0-57302 circuit board. This has several wire wound resistors (75 Ω 5% 20W) and five capacitors (paper in oil or aluminum electrolytic.) The boards connect together using wired connections. Wires have several different types of ends depending on their termination points. Other components are also mounted to the interior of the housing, including Dale power resistors.
