About the 803602-TE
803602-TE Reliance Electric Distributed Power Module
The 803602-TE is a Reliance power module used to convert fixed voltage and frequency AC power (three-phase) to adjustable voltage DC power. This power module was sold under various manufacturing names, including ABB, Reliance Electric, and Baldor Reliance.
The 803602-TE is a 60-180 HP 600 VDC 250 Amp non-regenerative (S6) drive. It has a short circuit RMS rating of 25,000 Amps. The unit’s metal base is drilled at each corner and in several other locations to allow for simple mounting of the module. The upper cabinet is screw mounted to this base, as is a transformer and several armatures. The transformer connects to other module components using surface wiring. The primary cabinet of the 803602-TE is open to the sides and has a removable cover. Internal components include a field assembly, a snubber assembly, a plug-in fan to provide cooling, a PMI rack and cables, along with an armature assembly and a multipurpose PC board. Boards communicate with each other through various wired connections.
