85014-12Y Rectifier Stack Card Assembly
The 85014-12Y is a Reliance Electric and Engineering Co. component. This part was used within Reliance drives and their auxiliary systems. The 85014-12Y is a rectifier stack card assembly. This component is built with two horizontal heat sink components bolted together across a large air gap. Fins on these heat sinks extend both inward and outward, creating a large interior gap. A circuit board is mounted to the left and the right side of these assemblies. The circuit boards are screw mounted to the central tower. They are populated by wire-wound and carbon composite resistors and several capacitors. Surface wires connect these circuit boards to screws mounted on the heat sinks. The lower heat sink component has two right-angled tabs mounted to its outer left and right bottom edge in order to create a stable base for the unit.
