The 86466-059S is a Reliance Electric (Asea Brown Boveri/Baldor Reliance) Rectifier Stack. This component was fabricated by Reliance for use within its various drive systems. It has since been discontinued by the manufacturer.
The 86466-059S is a 460 VAC, 3 phase rectifier stack. The unit is composed of a central metal carrier connected to four heat sink towers, two per side. On each of these towers, a small circuit board component is screw mounted to the top surface. Each circuit board is populated by a single transformer mounted in a frame, terminal pins, resistors, and diodes. The terminal pins on each board are connected to a red and white wire that connects to other components located lower in the stack. These components are located at the very bottom of the rectifier stack or are mounted to the inside metal carrier.
