86466-48R Assembly Stack Rectifier
The 86466-48R is a Rectifier Stack Assembly from Reliance Electric. This component may sometimes be marketed under the manufacturing names of Asea Brown Boveri or Baldor-Reliance, due to changes in the company structure.
The 86466-48R is composed of two large heat sink assemblies that have been placed side-by-side and attach to each other using bolts. On one end, the assemblies are designed with flat “feet” that will allow the unit to stand upright. The other side of the unit is fitted with a right-angled metal flange with two drill holes facing to the side. This end is also fitted with a metal carrier that has several components and red/white braided wires mounted to its interior.
