86466-74RB  Rectifier Stack 

The 86466-74RB is a board component used in Reliance Electric drive systems like the MaxPak Plus variable speed drives.  In some cases, this component is marketed under the names Baldor-Reliance or ABB/Asea Brown Boveri.   The 86466-74RB is discontinued and not actively manufactured.  However, it can be purchased as new-used stock from AX Control.  It can also be purchased as reconditioned stock.  Our in-house technicians go over our used stock before resale in order to test and fully refurbish each unit.  They can also repair your unit at a competitive rate.  Our sales staff will be happy to provide a quote for all the options. 

The 86466-74RB is designed from multiple parts mounted together using screw connections.  It sits on a hollow base with two open ends.  This base is connected to two “C” shaped sides that also screw mount to the heat sinks that sit above it.   Multiple components are mounted within the base, including Dale Power resistors and stab-on connectors.   The two heat sinks above the base also attach to a metal carrier that bisects the 86466-74RB component.  Two SCR diodes are placed between the heat sinks and this metal carrier.  These connect to two small circuit board components that are placed at the top of each of the heat sinks using wired connections.   The final components included in the 86466-74RB are two large fuse components that mount via screws to horizontal bar carriers located at the very top of the component.
