Product Description

86466-74S Reliance Electric Rectifier Stack 

The 86466-74S is a Rectifier Stack fabricated by Reliance Electric.  This product is used in various drive systems from that company.  The 86466-74S is sometimes marketed as a product by ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) or Baldor-Reliance. 

The 86466-74S is designed as two heat sink towers connected by a central carrier.  A hockey-puck SCR controller is mounted to either side of this metal carrier, with each component having a red and white braided wire extending to the small circuit board (0-51378-19) mounted to the top of each stack.   Each of these circuit boards is populated by four terminal pins, a transformer, resistors, and diodes, and is screw-mounted to the top of the heat sink stack.   Additional components are mounted within the base of the Rectifier stack.
