About the 86466-84V
The 86466-84V is a Rectifier Stack made by Reliance Electric. This module may have been sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance at one point but is now a discontinued part. AX Control does try to keep the 86466-84V in stock.
The 86466-84V is sometimes referred to as a semiconductor thyristor. It is used to turn unpredictable AC current into a more manageable DC current that only flows in one way. It is made up of a hollow base that is used as a carrier. There are a number of components that are installed onto the 86466-84V. There is a total of two 2- section heat sinks each have a gate coupling board mounted to the top. If one of these gate coupling cards becomes damaged, AX Control does offer replacement boards.
