About the 86466-84W
86466-84W is a Rectifier stack produced by Reliance Electric. The purpose of this device is to convert energy that moves in multiple ways to an energy that can only move in one way. The 86466-84W is made up of two metal panels connected side by side. The first panel is ribbed and has eight fins, a large gap so secure to the other panel and eight more fins on the other side of the gap, with another fin like piece with pre-drilled holes that are used to secure the rectifier in place or add additional panels. The second panel also has eight fins, a large connection gap where it secures to the first panel, and eight more fins. There is also another fin like piece that has pre-drilled holes that has another flat metal panel attached to it. In the flat parts where the two towers are connected, there is a number (7815-77R) printed in the center or both towers. There is a hook latch on the top half of the rectifier that has a part number of TW 6000453. The top of both rectifier stacks houses two tiny circuit boards with the part number 0-51378-19 (these come with the rectifier stack or can be purchased separately if you only need the circuit board). The 86466-84W uses black clip style harnesses with red and white wires to connect the circuit boards to the rectifier towers.
