864660-60S Rectifier Stack
The 864660-60S is a double rectifier stack manufactured by Reliance Electric. This component is used within Reliance drive systems. It is sometimes sold under the manufacturing name of Baldor-Reliance or Asea Brown Boveri.
The 864660-60S is composed of two sets of dual heat sinks connected to a central metal carrier via bolts. The central carrier also has two SCR diodes mounted to it behind the heat sink fins. A braided red and white wire extends from each of these components to two of the 0-51378-19 circuit boards mounted on top of the heat sink stacks. There are four of these small board components in all. Each board has resistors, diodes, four terminal pins, and a single transformer. Each circuit board screw mounts to the stack.
There are several more components mounted within the base of the 864660-60S, including two gold wire-wound resistors. Multiple wires with various types of endings are used within the body of this component. It is important to note the Rectifier stack needs proper air clearance to work properly.
