It is made up of two vertical heat sink bolted together across an internal air gap. This internal air gap houses SCR diodes that are mounted to the interior walls of the heat sinks. The bottom of one of the heat sinks is flat, while the other heat sink base offers a bottom flange with two factory-made drill holes that allow the unit to be easily mounted in place.
