The 86475-115 is a 460 VAC rectifier stack. Rectifier stacks are designed for use in power applications to convert or ‘straighten’ alternating current (AC) into single direction direct current (DC.) This component is created by two large heat sinks connected to each other using bolted connections that leave an air gap between them. In this air gap, the unit has metal oxide varistors (MOVs) and SCR diodes mounted to the interior walls of the heat sinks. These components connect to other module components located at the apex of the heat sink stacks, like a small gating circuit board and a high voltage capacitor, using wired connectors.
