86475-1S Thyristor Stack
The 86475-1S is a discontinued component from Reliance Electric that is used in the company’s drives. This component has since been replaced by part number 86475-11S. The 86475-1S was also sold under the manufacturing names of ABB and Baldor-Reliance.
The 86475-1S is built with an SCR diode/thyristor and a metal oxide varistor mounted within the air gap that is made by the bolt connection between the two vertical heat sink assemblies. These components connect via wired connections to the circuit board (0-51378-12) and the high voltage capacitor that is mounted to the top of the heat sinks. The circuit board has components like two diodes, two sets of terminal pins, and two resistors. Wires terminate to the pins and directly to the surface of the board.
