The 86485-15RC is designed to function as a local operator station. It can tailor control functions like speed and torque. These local stations had five standard faceplates available from the factory; please verify with our team at the time of order placement which versions we have in stock, as this may vary. With the faceplate properly installed the station component has a NEMA type 4/12 rating. In most cases, these components will include an on/off circuit breaker (switch,) a speed rotary dial that connects to an internal potentiometer, and three toggle switches that are labeled from top to bottom as run/jog, forward/reverse, and start/stop.
The 86485-15RC can operate from a single-phase power source of 48-62 Hz without any type of modification. The unit will operate without component damage even with voltage dips (momentary) to 25% of nominal. The controller contains a short-circuit protection system.
