A50B50 Lorain High-Frequency Rectifier
The A50B50 is a High-Frequency Rectifier from Lorain. This compact model is designed to have an easy on-site configuration with a modular design that can be easily added to, to meet your current and future needs. This is a 50 amp rectifier that can be used in conjunction with additional modules to provide up to 600 amps of capacity. Modular systems can be configured for N+1 redundancy. Supplemental bays are available for rack-mounted battery systems.
The A50B50 offers front access design with a fully enclosed cabinet for the simplest installation and maintenance with protected distribution. The front panel of the unit has multiple LED indicators including an AC-On, rectifier failure, and fan failure, as well as a rectifier current LED bar graph that displays in 5 amp increments. The unit is circuit breaker protected. The unit can be remotely controlled through a Lorain SMART microprocessor and also offers local control and monitoring. The front panel has several grid openings to allow for airflow, set screws to lock the front panel in place, and a centrally situated handle to help technicians insert and remove the unit from its location. The unit is fan cooled front to rear. The audible noise from the unit is 65dBA @ 5 feet.
The A50B50 is 12.19 inches high by 6.31 inches wide by 14.17 inches deep. It weighs 38.5 pounds. The unit is UL listed and CSA certified. It is seismic approved for Zone 4 installations.
