The K-102 module is a contact assembly kit that was made by Reliance Electric. The K-102 contact assembly kit has been discontinued by the original manufacturer, and thus they are no longer selling it new or offering to repair it. However, AX Control possibly has the K-102 contact assembly kit as a refurbished product or as a brand new one due to our access to surplus Reliance Electric stock. The K-102 contact assembly kit’s contact is made out of silver, which is a conductive material. This is critical, since conductive materials allow energy to flow freely through it due to the low electrical resistance that is inherent to these types of materials. Wear and tear is reduced to the K-102 contact assembly kit because of the alloy that is included with the device, which is used to create a hard protective surface.
