About the K-201
The K-201 model is a contact kit that was originally sold by Reliance Electric. The K-201 contact kit is not a whole auxiliary contact kit but it is simply just the metal brackets and a large metal spring that make up the auxiliary contact kit. When Reliance Electric was bought out by Rockwell International in 1994, the K-201 contact kit and the rest of their products became obsolete. However, AX Control may possibly have the K-201 contact kit (as well as other Reliance Electric products) in stock. You can contact us by phone or email to speak to one of your representatives. We can help you in determining if this product is best for your facility, so do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
The K-201 contact kit was previously sold using the company names Baldor Reliance and Asea Brown Boveri.
Reliance Electric’s auxiliary contact kits were used in a variety of their machines, such as the Reliance Electric contactor. Please keep in mind that when you are ready to install an auxiliary contact kit into a contactor, you must be able to accommodate for an extra half an inch to the contactor’s width. If you are unable to fit this in with how your facility is set up, you may want to reposition your contactor.
Also, be sure to maintain the area in which the auxiliary contact is kept with regular cleanings. An unclean environment can disturb the auxiliary contact and possibly even damage it.
Since the K-201 contact kit is only part of the auxiliary contact kit, it does not weigh as much. The K-201 contact kit only weighs approximately 0.07 lbs. or 0.032 kg.
