Originally sold by Reliance Electric, the K-264 unit is one of the repair kits for the many different types of auxiliary contacts that Reliance Electric created. It is worth noting that the K-264 repair was once sold using the names of the companies Asea Brown Boveri as well as Baldor Reliance. The K-264 eventually became a discontinued product as a result of a merger between Reliance Electric and Rockwell International. Despite the K-264 repair kit becoming an obsolete product as a result of this merger, it may be available in AX Control’s stock today. The K-264 auxiliary contact repair kit is a 1 pole kit that comes with a small metal spring, two small circular metal rings, two angled metal pieces, and one metal piece that is flat and has a small hole directly in its center.
To repair your auxiliary contact kit, you will first want to remove the defective piece. Then, install the replacement piece that comes with the K-264 repair kit. Please note that you will want to first inspect your auxiliary contact kit and determine what the problem exactly is. If the problem is not one of the pieces that can be replaced using the K-264 repair kit, you will want to repair the auxiliary contact kit using other means or purchase another auxiliary contact kit altogether.
