About the K-601
Reliance Electric developed and produced many different models of auxiliary contact kits during their tenure as a company. The K-601 auxiliary contact kit is one of these auxiliary contact kits. The K-601, however, has since been discontinued and is no longer offered new or available to be repaired by Reliance Electric. Despite this, we here at AX Control may have the K-601 auxiliary contact kit in stock today and we are always willing to take your part in for repair. The K-601 auxiliary contact kit can be added to motor starters, contactors, or other devices that were produced by Reliance Electric. For installation with a motor starter, the auxiliary contacts can be inserted in up to four different places, one on each side of the motor starter. If you are able to install a side mounting kit to the motor starter, then you have the ability to install four more auxiliary contact kits to the motor starter, allowing for access to more contacts without having to obtain another motor starter. The installation of the K-601 auxiliary contact kit is streamlined for ease of use for the consumer. You do not need to use any tools. For installation, simply hold the motor starter in place and insert the K-601 auxiliary contact into the proper place, which can be found on every one of the four sides of the motor starter.
