About the K-604
Reliance Electric produced many different types of auxiliary contact kits, and this includes the K-604 auxiliary contact kit. However, the K-604 auxiliary contact kit was discontinued by Reliance Electric and is now obsolete and therefore difficult to obtain. Despite this, AX Control may have the product in stock. Typically, we have our products in reconditioned form, but we occasionally have access to surplus stock and therefore may carry this product in brand new condition. All of the Reliance Electric auxiliary contact kits can be installed very easily into a Reliance Electric device without the use of any tools. You will simply need to keep the auxiliary contact in place and insert it into one of the applicable spaces on that particular device.
The auxiliary contact kits come with a clear side cover and positive driven contacts that derive from the main contact carrier.
One of the devices that the K-604 auxiliary contact kit can be installed into is a Reliance Electric motor starter. These motor starters have four different spaces that can fit an auxiliary contact kit, one on each of the motor starter’s four sides. However, if you would like to have more spaces for auxiliary contact kits and therefore gain more access to contacts, you can add a side mounting and gain four more contacts for a total of eight spaces on the motor starter.
