About the K-607
The K-607 module is one of the auxiliary contact kits that Reliance Electric manufactured in the 1980s. Reliance Electric has discontinued the K-607 auxiliary contact kit, meaning that they no longer offer it new or offer repairs for it. However, this product may be in stock here at AX Control. We tend to carry our products in refurbished condition, but we may have this product brand new as well. The auxiliary contact kits that Reliance Electric manufauctured, including the K-607 model, were created to be easy to install pieces of hardware. When you are ready to begin installation of the K-607 auxiliary contact, you will not need to use any tools. Simply hold the device you are installing the K-607 auxiliary contact into and insert in the appropriate spot.
When installing an auxiliary contact kit to a Reliance Electric motor starter, you can add a total of four auxiliary contacts to it, one on each of the four sides of the motor starter that you are applying the auxiliary contact to. If you are able to install a side mounting kit, then you can install a total of eight auxiliary contact kits to sides of the motor starter.
When you are in the process of installing the auxiliary contact kit to a device, be sure to clear the area of any sort of debris, dust, or spills. Also, be sure that there are no gases in the air that could be harmful to the operation of the auxiliary contact kit.
