About the M-1AR
The M-1AR unit is a short haul modem that was designed and produced by Bo Sherrel for the Reliance Electric brand. The M-1AR short haul modem has since been discontinued by the original manufacturer, but AX Control still typically has the M-1AR short haul modem in stock. The M-1AR short haul modem has a voltage rating of 115 or 230 Volts at 50/60 Hz. There is a large power cable coming out of the back of the M-1AR short haul modem next to a label.
On the front of the M-1AR short haul modem, there are three LED status indicator lights. The one on the right is labeled as the “PWR” light, the next one is the “RD” light, and the last one is the “TD” light. In the middle of the front of the device, there is a button. Below that, there is a label that indicates that when it is pushed in it is “LLB” and when not pushed in it is “OP.”
On the side of the M-1AR short haul modem, there is a large port that leads to the inside of the device. On the inside, there is a large circuit board with many different electrical components. There are four MOVs in the top left corner, two capacitors in the bottom left corner, a few integrated circuits throughout the board, and a few resistors and diodes also throughout the board.
The M-1AR short haul modem weighs about 1.00 lb. or 0.45 kg.
