The 45C910 module is a rack that the company Reliance Electric is responsible for contributing to the market. The 45C910 rack is classified as a three-slot rack even though it has a total of four slots. One of these slots is used for a Shark XL power module. The other three slots are used for Shark XL processor and I/O modules.

The inside of the 45C910 rack is comprised of only a few components. There are backplane connectors equivalent to the amount of slots with which the rack is outfitted. There are also two small mounting holes at the top of the 45C910 rack to facilitate installation. On the side of the 45C910 rack, and all of the other Shark XL racks, you will be able to find an expansion rack connector piece. By using the piece, you will be granted the ability to connect the 45C910 rack with other Shark XL racks to expand the amount of Shark XL modules that you can hold at any given time.

When you are mounting the 45C910 rack, be sure to not mount the rack in any place where it will be exposed to direct sunlight or where a heat source will be located below it. Also, there should be at least eight inches between the rack and any lines that are over 3000 V and plenty of space away from any sources of excessive shock or vibration.
