The 45C920 unit is a power supply module that was produced by Reliance Electric to be used within the Shark XL series. Reliance Electric’s Shark XL is now a legacy series, but AX Control still makes an effort to keep the products within that series in stock for the convenience of our customers.
The 45C920 power supply module is one of three power supply modules for the Shark XL series. The other two power supply modules have the model numbers 45C921 and 45C922. You can click on these links to find their pages on our website where you can learn more about them and whether or not they are available.
The 45C920 power supply module, along with all of the other Shark XL power supply modules, is a required product within the Shark XL racks. The module’s faceplate has numerous terminals on it, all of which are individually labeled, that are used to connect with incoming power wires. The 45C920 power supply module comes with additional 24 VDC terminals that are used for powering output circuitry. The 45C920 power supply module is rated as having 115/230 VAC.
The 45C920 power supply module will connect to the smallest backplane connector on the Shark XL rack in which you are installing it. This module is compatible with any of the Shark XL racks.
On the side of the 45C920 power supply module, you will find an AC input power jumper as well as a green jumper below it. To the left of the green jumper, there is a fuse.
