About the 45C969
Reliance Electric was responsible for making the 45C969 module for the Shark XL series, which is a low power isolated relay output module. The 45C969 module is no longer being produced, since the Shark XL series is now a legacy series. Even though this halt in production for the Shark XL series has occurred, you can still usually find the 45C969 module available in AX Control’s stock.
The 45C969 module has another Shark XL counterpart. This counterpart is the 45C968 module. These two devices are very similar in many aspects, particularly in their dimensions, voltage ratings, delay times, number of outputs and commons, and current consumption ratings. These two modules differ, however, in their current various current ratings. The 45C969 module has load current range of a minimum of 0.1 mA to a maximum of 100 mA. The inrush current can reach as high as 1 Amp for every 100 milliseconds.
The output voltage for both of these similar modules range from 85 VAC to 264 VAC or from 5 to 27 VDC. Also, the nominal voltage can be either 24 VDC or 115 VAC/230 VAC. The maximum delay time for the eight outputs on both of these modules will be 4 milliseconds for the ON to OFF and 5 milliseconds for the OFF to ON.
