The 45C994 output module is used to house and control the various output devices that are compatible with the Shark XL programmable controllers. Specifically, the 45C994 output module is meant to have analog output devices connected to it. These analog output devices are connected to the 45C994 output module using the terminals on the front. There are a total of nine terminals on the front of this device. The five terminals on the bottom are all labeled as “NC,” which stands for Normally Closed. There are two terminals that are labeled as “C” terminals, which are meant to have commons connected to them. There are two other terminals that are labeled as “0” and “1.” 

The 45C994 output module has a total of two channels and an output of 0 through 10 VDC. The device’s load impedance is 10 kiloOhms or more and the conversion time is 1 millisecond. The 45C994 output module has an 8-bit resolution. Keep in mind that there is no isolation from the DC inputs provided with the module.
